Poverello Center Open House
The Poverello Center holds an open house for the community. The Poverello Center is a food bank helping to feed people with HIV/AIDS. Poverello is partially funded by its huge thrift store and hopes to be moving into its new, larger facilities by the end of 2010.

Florida AIDS Walk
3/27/08: The annual Florida AIDS Walk started from downtown Fort Lauderdale, went to the ocean and returned. Hosted by Ruben Bermudez with featured guests, actor Blair Underwood and actor/comedian Mario Cantone.
