5/17/10-The first Green Dog Day Festival on N.E. 13 Street in Fort Lauderdale. This festival designed for our canine friends and their owners was a benefit for The Pet Project. Hosted by William Hitchings.

Candlelight Vigil for Courtney Bright

Almost 100 people showed up for a candlelight vigil held in honor of Courtney Bright, a 24 year old Polk County, Florida lesbian who was allegedly murdered by the father of her girlfriend. The vigil was organized by the Gay American Heroes Foundation.

The annual spring PrideFest held this year in Jaco Pastorius Park in Oakland Park outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Sleazy Awards Pool Party

The annual Sleazy Awards Pool Party held in conjunction with the Sleazy Awards was held at the Cheston House on Fort Lauderdale Beach. The afternoon event was held as a fundraiser for The Wellness Center of South Florida.

An Evening with the Stars: Red Carpet Event

Joe Posa as Joan Rivers does red carpet interviews of those attending the annual "An Evening with the Stars" a fundraiser for the Poverello Food Bank. This year, the evening also celebrates Poverello's founder, Father Bill Collins' 79th birthday.
